The new design launches against the backdrop of new data from the company, with a comprehensive study showing that the number of top creators who get the majority of watch time on TV has increased by more than 400 percent over the past three years. Neil Mohan, CEO of YouTube, had this to say in a blogpost, “Viewers want everything in one place, and YouTube is making that possible. “This new channel page will make users feel more connected to their favorite creators, which will motivate them to watch more videos.”

According to the company, views of YouTube Shorts on connected TVs have increased by more than 100% from January to September 2023, and viewers globally now watch an average of more than a billion hours of YouTube content on their TVs every day. Nielsen, the global leader in insights, data and analytics, has named YouTube as the number one streaming platform in the US by viewing time for a full year. This new channel page is another major step in the development of YouTube, which will attract more users and provide them a better and convenient view. This will also increase the reach and usage of the YouTube platform, giving users the opportunity to enjoy more content.
