One of these stories which is mainly prevalent is about her devotee Sridhar. It is said that once Shridhar, a devotee of Mata, kept a Bhandara for Mata, in that he invited Bhairav and his disciples as well, but Bhairav and his disciples refused to eat non-vegetarian food in the Bhandara, and on the refusal of Shridhar, Bhairav Anger has come. At that time, to protect her devotee, mother herself came to Bhandara in the form of a girl and while fighting with Bhairav, mother climbed Trikut mountain.
