Heart of Darkness is an important and most representative literary product of Joseph Conrad. The entire novel cab be explain on the allegorical form as it represents and discuss a very serious subject in the mask of simple and interesting story of a commercial travelling group of particular company on the upper level of the group travellers make a trip in the heart of Dense Forest through the valley of amazon River where in the heart of forest dwell ignorant , innocent,  trivials who are simple in their throught and living.

The travelling group reaches their place with the help of motor boat and subjugate those simple people bringing them, under chief templation of food , drink and money in order to get from them the costly and valuable tusk of the elephant. The simple story deals that in order to gave  the tusk money trivals risk and loose their life but there are not given any compensation for them. These intellectuals and in enlightened people destroy the natural cultural of tribals as well as the permanent habitants of wild animals sometimes irritated wild animals and tribals kill and destroy the travelling groups along with their motor boat by attack at night. These people sent by the company also due due to disease and lack of medical aid.

The story represents darkness in the heart and mind of trading companies directors. The novelist went to make us feel how the heart of managing director is full darkness as under the temptation of profit and selfish nature are unable to feel their and mission in the heart of forest the result  is that in the external world due to like of culture, civilization education,  there is darkness in the heart of forest but all the inner level, the heart of these European highly conscious well educated properly cultural and civilised have a heart, that is full of darkness due to lack of morality duty , kindness and humanity . They don't do anything not only for the proper care of tribals but also for the safe return of trading.
